This month, we are going to help elementary children in school by adding to a nutritious homemade bowl of soup made by Calgary Meals on Wheels.

Please bring non-perishable snacks, drink boxes or packets of hot chocolate. Or you can add a little something to their lunch bag that they would enjoy like a pack of crayons, small toy, yo-yo, puzzle or small game like a hacky sack ball.

We will have lunch together and then create paper place mats and cards to wish others a happy day.

Faith Stories Unit Part 2 starts Sunday, April 29

If you haven't been to Faith Quest over the past two weeks you will definitely want to read the faith stories.

We will be working with the Youth Group to bring these Stories to life on May 13th in an adaptation of "Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure."

What: Pizza, pasta, salads, pop and coffee as well as face painters, balloon artists, and a silent auction!

Why: In support of many of the young families of St. David's, we invite you to join us for lunch. Proceeds go to the construction of a new playground at St. Vincent and the upkeep of the natural area at Marion Carson School.

Suggested Donation: $10 per person/$20 per family.

What: To play soccer or toboggan/skate. Depending on the weather, bring your soccer ball and skates or toboggans and skates. Hot chocolate & snacks provided.

When: 1:30 p.m.

Why: To build community and have fun!

Be the Tooth Fairy

 

This month, we are going to help bring toothbrushes to children who wouldn’t otherwise be able to brush their teeth. We will collect toothbrushes; write out tips for looking after your teeth and/or write stories about the Tooth Fairy. We can also collect money and The Tooth Fairy Children’s Foundation can purchase the toothbrushes from wholesalers. February is dental health month in Canada.

The Tooth Fairy Children's Foundation is a charitable organization with the mission to provide every child worldwide with a toothbrush, oral hygiene education and access to dental care. The Foundation will educate and build awareness of the dental needs of children globally.
